Centenary officially announced a new World History of Cuisine (HIS-3030) course, available for 4-credits in Fall 2026.
The course will explore how recipes have changed over centuries of migration and been shaped by world cultures. Each class will begin with taste testing food from different regions of the world.
“Food is vastly important to cultures around the world,” said President John Schol. “Having a course in food history can give students a new appreciation for dining, cuisine, and history.”
