Jamie Weingarten, director of Student Activities, hosted the Career and Internship Fair in the Reeve’s Gymnasium on Tuesday, April 21.
Each semester, this Fair is an opportunity for students to see the careers and internships available locally, from education to healthcare to sales.
“The Career and Internship Fair was a great success, bringing together over 30 businesses and more than 100 students and community members,” said Weingarten. “This strong turnout created valuable opportunities for networking, career exploration, and meaningful connections between employers and attendees. The event highlighted the growing engagement between our campus and the broader professional community, setting a strong foundation for future career-focused initiatives.”
“As I was working the career fair, it reminded me how significant networking is, especially in college,” said Nick Storms, junior communication major. “We're not just here to pursue the degree. We're here to meet and greet people because, truth be told, we never know who we can meet, so this career fair is one of the most valuable events on campus.”
