What is more fun than roller skating? Glow in the dark roller skating. Student Activities hosted Glow in the Dark Roller Skating on March 18, in the Reeves Gymnasium from 7 - 11 p.m. Nearly 100 students rolled and glowed in the dark, making this event a total success!
Students and Student Activities staff members agreed:
“It was fun and an experience,” said Chelsea Hilaire, a sophomore.
“It was a good and fun experience to learn new things,” said Nevaeh Okeefe, sophomore.
“It’s one of my favorite events we put on! The students step out of their comfort zone and try something new,” said Jamie Weingarten, director of Student Activities.
“I enjoy Roller Skate Night as it is a traditional event that Centenary throws every year with good music. It's always a good time,” said Kenneth Pinedo, assistant director of Student Activities.
This event was a huge success and an amazing testament as to why this is an annual tradition for students. This event will be hosted again in the next school year, so keep an eye out for it.
