Burgers, wings, and more– that's what you can expect from 30 Burgers located on High Street right after the Fulton Bank. I had the opportunity to visit 30 Burgers for the first time. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement.
From the moment you walk through the door, your sense of smell is hijacked and taken for a ride. The smell of fresh burgers is intoxicating, and if you went in unsure of what to order, you know now.
From 30 different burgers to choose from, I went for the bacon cheeseburger. After taking what felt like hours to make a decision on which wing sauce I would choose from their menu, which included hot buffalo, mild buffalo, honey BBQ, teriyaki, Carolina tangy gold, and hickory smoked BBQ, I went with their teriyaki sauce. It was fantastic, a perfect mix of tangy and smoky teriyaki, and my favorite sauce out of the bunch.
The burger was a fair price of $10; however, I feel like the wings were a little overpriced. I paid $9 for 5 wings. This seems high-priced when you could go to a place like Buffalo Wild Wings and get 20 wings and fries for $20.
The interior of 30 burgers matches its menu: casual and full of energy. The minimalist black-and-white layout is easy to digest. With five black tables, between white walls. The seating is spacious and inviting, with ample seating for any party size. It’s the kind of place that feels just right for grabbing lunch with friends or a late-night bite. The staff was friendly and patient, no matter how long I took to decide on my order; I never once felt rushed.
The burger was excellent and perfectly cooked, and the cheese and meat mixed perfectly with the knockout punch of bacon. I highly recommend this burger to anyone who is hit with a craving for something with bacon and cheese.
The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, the tables clean and organized. Overall, 30 Burgers exceeded my expectations. It’s the kind of spot that reminds you how good a simple burger and wings can be when done correctly.
I’ll definitely be coming back to explore more of their menu. I highly recommend 30 Burgers to anyone in the Hackettstown area or any Centenary students.
