We’ve all been there; on our way to class, need a quick bite to eat, and don’t have much time. Well, Frank’s Trattoria–also known as Frank’s Pizza–located on 80 Main Street, is the perfect place to grab a slice of pizza if you’re on the go. The place has friendly service and it’s nice and fast.
Frank’s Pizza is only about a 5-minute drive from campus and is located in the plaza on Main Street with Quick Chek and Shop Rite Liquors. It’s also only about a 10-minute walk for people on campus who don’t have a car.
I go to this place quite often and the pizza is very good! It’s not the best pizza, but it’s still good and the people there know me quite well and they are very nice. The inside is pretty much just a standard pizza place where you can sit down and get a slice. There is a TV and many tables to sit down and enjoy. It’s also quite popular as I’ve seen the restaurant packed sometimes.
Frank’s Pizza has a lot of options on the menu, such as pizza, calzones, sandwiches, pasta, and appetizers. It isn’t too expensive, and they have a two-slice-combo with a drink for a good price. I’ve also had their fried calamari and mozzarella sticks that are very tasty as well.
For the budget-conscious college student, the last hour features slices marked down to a dollar!
I’ve also heard about Mama’s Café Baci in Hackettstown–a fancier Italian restaurant–located on 260 Mountain Avenue, across from Wendy’s and Lowe’s. Although I’ve never been there, I hear how good it is. If you’re looking for more upscale Italian dining, check out our review on Mama’s!
