From their wide variety of classic Italian foods, such as margarita pizza, to their delicious allergy-friendly meals, there is something for everyone. Personally, I have a dairy allergy, and Mama’s has a wide variety of options that fit my dietary needs. 

My favorite is their cheese pizza with a fantastic dairy-free cheese. I usually get toppings, such as spinach, onions, mushrooms, and bruschetta. 

Every time I get their pizza, it comes out just as good as the last, or sometimes even better! The pizza crust is always golden brown and crispy, and every bite keeps you wanting for more. 

Another favorite dish of mine is their chicken marsala. I am a big fan of this dish and like the pizza. They make a delicious dairy-free version of this classic meal. The mushroom sauce is always satisfying, and the mushrooms are cooked to perfection. The chicken is also expertly cooked, which makes the dish even better! 

I usually order my chicken marsala with penne pasta, since it is one of my favorite types of pasta, and it is delicious, especially with that classic marsala sauce. I would highly recommend all of the dishes that I have tried at Mama’s in Hackettstown. 

At Mama’s, they also have a wide variety of gluten-free options, perfect for those gluten and dairy free. 

Back to their menu, a strong starter is their fresh salad and homemade bread. You can’t go wrong with warm bread with a side of olive oil for dipping! The salad has that nice crunchy texture and I like to pair it with balsamic vinaigrette. The gluten-free bread is also very good; it’s not grainy or dry like other brands of gluten-free bread you get at the grocery store. This one is perfectly made, and tastes just like regular bread.
