"Shining Lights"

The holiday season is always very important to my family and me, specifically the Christmas season. The feeling of December in my house is always euphoric.  

Every December 20 since I was a little kid, my family would drive around our neighborhood and look at all of the decorations. We would even go to my dad’s hometown of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, and look around there.

I remember this one house just a few streets away from me that was always over-the-top decorated. There is a sign that says “Happy Holidays” and probably a hundred blow-ups! When the family puts up the decorations, I instantly know that it's Christmas time. 

I have always been incredibly fascinated with lights and decorations, so being able to do this has always made me happy.
