One of the most recognized films in Pixar’s catalog is 2006’s Cars, a story about a world of living vehicles. As that film approaches its 20th anniversary, let’s take at some of the best that the world of cars has to offer!
“Honorable” Mention - Tesla Cybertruck

In an age where technology is continuously evolving, there’s a wide range of fascinating gadgets that boast style. Tesla’s Cybertruck is a key example of this concept, as it takes the core workings of a typical Tesla car and amplifies them in a massive hodgepodge, with a design reminiscent of a giant Lego brick. Undeniably high-tech, but its blocky shape and overbearing size make it an odd outlier of contemporary vehicles.
5 - Prius

This car is one of the most iconic models made by Toyota, one of the pioneers of the vehicular world. It comes in a variety of colors and averages around $29,000 in price, all while seating five total passengers. With an engine of 196 horsepower, it’s able to go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 7 seconds! It’s the perfect vehicle for those seeking effective front-wheel drive with a sleek design and reasonable price.
4 - Forklift

Many vehicles serve purposes outside of cruising down the interstate, and the forklift is one of those technical marvels! It may not be the fastest or the best for travel, but its true saving grace stands front and center on the bumper: the two metal prongs. These metal sticks are capable of sliding under heavy objects and lifting off the ground with ease! This makes it perfect for those grueling outdoor construction jobs. Revolutionary, right?
3 - Fiat 500

This car may be small, only seating up to four people, but it packs a mighty punch! Originating from the beautiful country of Italy, this model has seen a number of evolutions throughout the years. Even now, as cars begin to transition from gas to electricity for function, modern versions of the Fiat 500 include hybrid versions! This means that contemporary models are able to combine an electric motor with a gasoline-based engine, making it a unique spectacle compared to other modern brands, who usually do one or the other.
2 - Hudson Hornet

You can’t beat the classics, especially when it comes to cars. Though not manufactured in bulk anymore, this vehicle reigned throughout the 1950s thanks to the Hudson Motor Company in Detroit. With a sleek and efficient design, the Hornet comes in colors like red, blue, and black. Most impressively, it was a prominent racecar of its time period, with its “Hornet” name signifying its quick speeds. All of these factors combined result in a car that’s the dictionary definition of an oldie, but a goodie.
1 - Hot Wheels

A childhood staple for many, the classic Hot Wheels brand has miniature models of every car imaginable! Versatility is the name of the game – with noteworthy sellers ranging from pick-up trucks to Lamborghinis – as these metal die-cast toys are perfect for play and display! Race them with your friends, roll them down a hillside, or keep them in-box for a pleasant wall decoration. In any case, there’s a Hot Wheels car for every consumer, which undoubtedly makes them the greatest car brand of all time!
