Calling all creatives! An open mic night was held in Taylor Memorial Library on Nov 6, 2023. Hosted by junior Kayla Diee, the evening featured comedy routines, music, poetry, and excerpts from short stories.
A dozen students and faculty of all disciplines came to perform. Dr. Haiduc-Dale stunned the crowd with his whimsical children’s songs, trusty banjo, and his rendition of Cardi B’s rap feature on “Girls Like You” by Maroon 5.
Dave Annisafee, who delivered a dramatic recitation of the lyrics of “Red” by Mori Calliope, shared, “It’s so amazing to see so many creative people expressing themselves.”
The event will be held again in February.
