Centenary Hosts Fall 2026 Involvement Fair

Each semester, the Student Government Association (SGA) hosts their Involvement Fair. They hosted their annual event this year on September 16 towards the front of campus between the Littell Tech Center and Washabaugh and Anderson halls. The purpose of this event is to show students the many clubs and organizations Centenary has to offer.

Students shared their thoughts on their specific organizations they represented.

First, we had a quote from a brother of the Omega Rho fraternity.

“Omega Rho is a fraternity which focuses on the community, tradition, and brotherhood,” said senior Jacoby Stewart, brother of Omega Rho.

A student from Enactus, a business based club, had some words to say as well.

“Enactus challenges the entrepreneurial mind of students,” said David Leone, junior and member of Enactus.

Next was Evergreen, a club centered around the environment.

“Evergreen is the best environmental club in the state,” said Jordan Henderson, senior president of Evergreen.

“Stay green,” added Howl O’Donnell, sophomore member of Evergreen.

Being an RA is an important thing a resident can do on campus.

“I’ve learned a lot of life skills and had fun as an RA,” said Emma Coronel, a senior sitting at Res Life’s table.

Kappa Delta Epsilon is something an education major can do.

“KDE, Kappa Delta Epsilon is a community of future teachers dedicated to leadership, service, and education,” said junior Nevaeh McKenney- Zacarias.

“KDE brings future educators together to learn, serve, and make a difference,” said junior Cassie Giunta, also a member of Kappa Delta Epsilon.

We can’t forget what the students behind the Involvement Fair itself have to say about it!

“It’s a good way for students to learn about campus clubs and interact with each other,” said senior Sofia Guiro, vice president of SGA.

“This is a great way to gain students and promote clubs. Students love interacting,” said senior Kayla Lima, president of SGA.

It wasn’t only students who had something to say, alumni and professors also chimed in.

“CycloneCon is a really cool experience for students to share their love for pop culture.” said Alyssa De Borja, class of 2024 alumna.

“WNTI is a great experience for any Centenary student. It builds communication skills and it’s a fun activity,” said Professor John Del Re, director of WNTI and professor of communication.
