Every student who dorms at Centenary University gets a meal plan. These plans can either get you 24 swipes at the dining hall a week, or as low as 10. Not only do students get these meal swipes, they also get Dining Dollars they can use at the cafeteria’s mini market, Starbucks, or Trotters Cafe at the Equine Center.
The meal plans are as followed:
All Access: 24 meals per week/$25 in Dining Dollars per semester
Any 15 A: 15 meals per week/$25 in Dining Dollars per semester
Any 15 B: 15 meals per week/$300 in Dining Dollars per semester
Any 10: 10 meals per week/$500 in Dining Dollars per semester
If you are a commuter who would like to eat at the dining hall during breaks, you are also able to get a meal plan. These include:
Commuter 25 Block:
25 meals per semester/$75 Dining Dollars per semester
Commuter 50 Block:
50 meals per semester/$100 Dining Dollars per semester
Commuter Dollars:
$310 Dining Dollars per semester
If you want to get Starbucks, you have a few options for how to pay. You could use a meal swipe (can only be used once a day at Starbucks OR Trotters Cafe), that leaves you to pay the rest with Dining Dollars, cash, or card.
PSA: Starbucks is open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., so please plan accordingly!
For meal swipes at Starbucks, before 11 a.m., $4 will be taken off your total, leaving you to pay the rest with Dining Dollars, cash, or card. After 11 a.m., the swipe will take off $5. Then, you’ll have to pay the remaining balance.
If you run out of your Dining Dollars for the semester, just visit the Campus Dining page on the Centenary University website and click Cyclone Dollars. This will bring you to The Cyclone Card Portal, where you can access your meal plan, and add Dining Dollars.
Dining Dollars is a unique feature at this university that can help us college students live our lives while not breaking the bank.
