Meet Centenary's New Mascot: Zeena!

As we come closer to the end of the 2025-2026 school year, Centenary has decided we need a change!

Starting in August 2026, Centenary University will be retiring The Cyclone and sporting a new mascot: Zeena. Previously The Cyclone Chronicle mascot, Zeena is taking on a bigger and better role! Due to her success and travels around Hackettstown, she is being deemed CU’s new mascot for her adventurous efforts. 

“I am devastated to be stepping down from my mascot position,” said The Cyclone. “I will miss everyone dearly, but I can’t imagine anyone better fitting for this role. Good luck Zeena!”

Be sure to wear pink to show Zeena support as she starts her duties as mascot this fall!
