Dan Armida: Athletic Director

Location: Reeves Athletic Center in the Gym. 

Functions/Description: 

Dan Armida’s job is to oversee every varsity program, our coaching staff, compliance, facilities, budget, and to make sure the department supports the students, not just the athletes. 

Most common visit/concern: 

Most students visit Armida for scheduling conflicts between academics and athletics, questions about eligibility or compliance, or wanting help navigating the balance between the two. The main concern Armida hears is that athletes are worried that they can’t do it all.

Most students don’t know: 

What most students don’t realize is how much support exists for them here beyond their sport, academic support, mental performance resources, staff who will go to bat for them on scheduling or advising issues. The door’s open a lot wider than people assume.
