The Centenary University Men’s soccer team added a victory to their win column in a non-conference match up, beating Keystone College 4-0 on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, at 2 p.m.
The Cyclones were able to break through first, shortly before the first half ended with a goal from Brian Osorio, assisted by Sean Quinones, setting the tone for the rest of the game.
Shortly after halftime, the Cyclones wasted no time scoring another goal shot by Harison Samayoa completing the assist from Brandon Morales advancing the score to 2-0.
Three minutes later, a crisp pass from Samayoa allowed Brian Moreira to score his first goal of the season, allowing the Cyclones to strike quickly again and gain a 3-0 lead.
The scoring from the Cyclones finished when freshman Christopher Chavarria scored his first goal of his career assisted by Elliot Tillinghast complimenting a personal achievement underneath a masterful team victory.
The Cyclones would go on to win 4-0 against Keystone College, advancing their overall record to 2-3, three weeks before conference play.
Centenary strives to continue to build off this win, as the squad matches up next against Cairn University on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, at 2 p.m. back on J.E. Reeves Jr. Field, in Hackettstown, New Jersey.
